Years 5 and 6 went to Bath on their Rugby Tour. The weekend involved two fixtures, bowling, watching a Premiership match and a visit to the amazing Roman Baths. Priory had an extremely successful afternoon at Thorngrove Prep winning all four matches which was excellent start to our tour. These matches demonstrated the progress the boys have made during the rugby season. The matches contained great team play and moments of individual brilliance which was evident in a try that could quite possibly be the best individual try from a Priory boy.
Saturday meant more fixtures and more rugby, all the boys got to support each other and create a tour atmosphere with their array of songs! There was lots of excellent rugby on display. From the fixture we headed off to watch Bath vs Wasps which the boys thoroughly enjoyed, especially as they got the opportunity to spend some money in the club shop!
On the final day we set off for the Roman Baths which was extremely interesting, the boys were fascinated by the Baths and particularly enjoyed the workshops where they had the opportunity to dress up like a Roman. Overall a great tour which involved some excellent rugby and memories which will last a long time.
