Year 8 flew to the beautiful island of Jersey for Priory's last ever Sports Tour there. The Tour didn't disappoint: the boys were fantastic on and off the field and represented the school superbly.
The four days on the island included activities such as the Zoo, War Tunnels, Aqua Flumes, sightseeing, shopping, bowling and the disco at the hotel. Sporting highlights included the football festival and hockey festival where Priory held their own against much larger schools. The rugby 7s, however, was the main sporting moment where Priory defied the odds to reach the Plate Finals, a competition they last year won. This year it was not to be though and we finished runners-up. Off the back of these performances, three Priory boys were selected to represent England against the Jersey schools on the Saturday morning. To top the sporting week off, Priory's Joshua Omitola was selected as England captain. All three Priory boys scored for England. What an achievement! Well done to all the tourist. The last Jersey Tour certainly did not disappoint.
