"I would like to thank Priory Prep for all of the work it did for me over the ten years that I attended the School. Without a doubt, Priory Prep did a great deal for my personal development which definitely put in place a firm foundation to be able to take on and embrace all the challenges of senior school."

Welcome to the web pages of the Old Priorian Association! Whether you spent one term, one year or like me seven years at Priory Prep, this is your school - a fantastic place that has the power to shape our lives and help us define who we are today. Most of us leaving Priory Prep still had many years of education ahead of us and as such we were thinking about our next school, then university and then getting a job. For me, Priory Prep has always held strong memories but it wasn't until the imminent birth of my son in 2006 that I caught myself looking through at the Priory Prep website knowing that I wanted him to be a part of the School. This in turn and a subsequent visit to an Open Morning brought all the memories flooding back.
I didn't feel that I had been away! Over the years, the School has invested and made huge strides to further improve facilities and the fundamental essence of the School is still here. Even some of the teachers who taught me are still teaching the boys at Priory Prep today. The School is a family and we are all part of this family. The aim of the Old Priorians Association is to give you the chance to reacquaint yourself with the School - to remember the football tour, the field trips or just a particular moment in time that you still remember today. We are looking forward to holding alumni events and we will also keep you up to date with events throughout the calendar year such as the Carol Service as you may want to come. I do hope you would like to be a part of the Old Priorians.

The inaugural event of the Old Priorians Association was a reunion that took place at the School on 16th September 2012. Former pupils, parents and staff all came along to the event and took a trip down memory lane. We were delighted to welcome a range of former pupils including one Old Priorian who hadn't returned to the school since he left just before the Second World War!
Did you know that the young British actor, Andrew Garfield (the latest Spiderman lead actor), the BBC editor Mark Mardell and the leading British businessmen Christian and Nick Candy all attended Priory Prep? British and American actor, Andrew Garfield, had a leading role in the Oscar-nominated film about Facebook called The Social Network. He has dual citizenship of the UK and the US. Christian and Nick Candy, the co-founders of Candy & Candy, specialise in the luxury housing market. Meanwhile, Mark Mardell is the North American editor for BBC News. He has provided coverage for each General Election in the UK since 1992 and joined the BBC as a political correspondent in 1989.
We celebrated our 90th anniversary in 2011 so at that year's Prize Giving ceremony we not only celebrated the success of the boys but also the success of the School over all these years. We welcomed back two Old Priorians, Mr White and Mr Davies, who were in the same class at Priory Prep and remain friends today. To mark our 90th anniversary, boys were also presented with a memento from the PSA and we raised a glass of champagne to our founder, Charles Poole.
