Pupils will be given the opportunity to experience a wealth of different subjects, whilst building strong foundations in reading, writing, English and maths.
They will be introduced to a wide and varied curriculum, to spark intrigue and begin their love of modern foreign languages, computing and science, enabled by the School’s excellent facilities. Creative and performing arts will also feature well in the timetable with ample opportunity for pupils to partake in PE, swimming, dance and games lessons. Our games and fixtures programmes will be varied and embrace the skills of teamwork and sportsmanship.
There will be an extensive, exciting co-curricular programme, suitable for all ages, which will enrich our daily curriculum.
The programme will offer variety, allowing each pupil to broaden their experience, strengthen skills and build new friendship groups. Activities will challenge and stimulate children in their free-time. They are designed to give the opportunity to try many new things, to enable pupils to discover new talents and passions. Many of the activities will be free of charge unless it is necessary to provide specialist support. Activities will take place immediately after lunch or after school, meaning that they are accessible to all to enjoy. Each term there will be an opportunity to try new or different clubs.
Clubs will include chess, puzzles, sewing, crafts, cookery, football, gymnastics, swim squad, netball, cricket, choir, computer coding and touch typing. We will be open to suggestions for new clubs and ideas can be discussed during Pupil Parliament meetings
