Many working parents appreciate the Priory Preparatory School Breakfast Club. It is open from 7.30am and provides the boys with a healthy breakfast of cereal, toast and fresh orange juice, to fortify them for their busy day. It is also a chance for them to meet up with friends for some early playtime.
Priory Preparatory School also runs an extremely popular After School Club. The After School Club is open until 6pm each school day and a snack tea can be ordered for those wanting something to eat before they go home.
A direct-dial facility enables parents who are delayed to contact the school, to ensure their child is taken care of in the After-School Club and to alleviate any concerns. The direct dial number of the After School Club is 07704 512 600.
Many boys will go to an activity and then finish off at after school club, or simply go to After School Club just to play with their friends. Most boys will go at one time or another during the week, and have a great time.
After School Activities
We run a number of clubs (including a Saturday morning Games Club from 9-10am, headed up by our Director of Sport and Head of PE). The programme is designed broaden horizons and to make sure that our boys can unwind and have fun.
We always encourage boys to 'have a go at things' and regularly review the clubs on offer such that we can provide a diverse range of activities, from Mini Crickets to Cookery and from Mad Science to Drama, which teaches them performance skills that can also be used in English lessons.
All activities are open to all boys in the school although most activities are carefully designed for specific ages. Most clubs run by our staff are not charged for but those run by external suppliers will incur a small charge.
